Our story at Rachel's Doggy Heaven

I started Rachel's Doggy Heaven because I was genuinely upset with the care dogs received at other facilities. I witnessed them being confined to kennels, rotated through limited outdoor time, and often left alone. This was not the loving environment pet owners expected, nor how I would ever want my own dogs treated. My goal was to create a place where what you see is what you get—a home where dogs are loved, cared for, and treated exactly as if they were my own, never left unhappy in a kennel while their owners are away.

I firmly believe every dog should be treated like a cherished family member. They should never be ignored or confined behind closed doors. That's why my home has gates instead of doors, allowing them to always see what's happening and feel included. I understand that coming to a new place can be stressful for dogs. My main goal for every dog is to ensure they don't experience additional stress. They will never be put in a kennel or a room with a closed door. My passion for animals is evident, and I strive to make their stay with me as comfortable, loving, and joyful as possible.
